Structured, high-power 3D LED lighting

The EFFI-LASE-V2 is the second-generation LED pattern projector from Effilux, offering up to 15 times more power than the original EFFI-LASE. Designed for industrial vision applications, it delivers stable, speckle-free illumination and supports a wide range of customizable patterns including lines, crosses, and dot matrices.

While slightly bulkier in design, the EFFI-LASE-V2 retains all the advantages of the original model, including flexibility in pattern selection and multiple power configurations to suit both short- and long-range setups. It is a powerful and adaptable alternative to laser-based systems, ideal for precise shape detection, positioning, and 3D profiling.

The EFFI-LASE-PSV accepts only C-Mount projection lens (M25.4). Those lenses are not supplied with the light. EFFILUX offers a wide range of lenses, for more information please refer to our page lenses. 

To avoid any distortion effect, EFFILUX recommends using a 1″ sensor lens for masks with rectangular patterns, such as point clouds.

There are two versions of the EFFI-LASE V2:

  • EFFI-LASE-PSV: Version with passive dissipation – M12 – 5 pins: With integrated driver
  • EFFI-LASE-CPT: Compact version – M8 – 8 pins: Without driver. Current is applied directly to the LEDs via an external controller.
Autostrobe
Working modes

The EFFI-LASE-PSV works in an autostrobe mode with several LED current steps from 2A (300%) to reach continuous level 0.7A (100%) after 2s.

The product can work on strobe mode choosing the right period under 2s and with a maximum duty cycle of 30%

It can also be used continuously passing by all those steps and light intensity can be adjusted between 10% and 100% with the AIC pin.

AIC:
* The « AIC » value can be set via the signal on pin 5. If it is not connected, the EFFI-Lase-PSV will work as if it is connected to 24V:

The EFFI-LASE-PSV is directly supplied with 24V DC via an M12 – 5 pins.

Connectivity

The compact version of the EFFI-LASE-CPT allows:

  • Very high power strobe possible
  • Direct control via your own power supply
  • Pulse Controller: EFFI-IPSC4 LED Controller is able to manage the intensity and duration of the strobes of your EFFI-LASE-CPT, according to your needs.

The LEDs are powered directly, the maximum current defined in the data sheet for a frequency and a given pulse time cannot be exceeded.

Mounting:

EFFI-LASE-PSV: Four standard M5x0.8 holes can be used to fix the device

EFFI-LASE-CPT: Five M4x0.8 holes can be used to fix the device.

To mount them, the Elcom mounting solution (EFFM-1-0009) is the most suitable.
