The EFFI-FLEX-BL is a specialized LED bar designed for linear backlighting applications, ideal for highlighting the contours and edges of parts during inspection. It is particularly well-suited for use with line scan cameras and the inspection of transparent materials such as paper, glass, and films.
While primarily used as a backlight, the EFFI-FLEX-BL can also serve as a highly diffused directional light source. It is available in a wide range of wavelengths—from blue to infrared—and features a compact, easy-to-mount design for seamless integration into industrial vision systems.
Equipped with an integrated driver and AIC (Auto Intensity Control) function, it allows precise control of light output. A cylindrical high-power version is also available for applications requiring maximum brightness. The EFFI-FLEX-BL is built for durability and is available in both IP67 and IP69K versions, making it suitable for complex and harsh environments.

Using the Polarizer accessory, it is possible to eliminate glare from the workpiece making it easier to acquire a suitable image for the application with no hot spot.
Possible to buy only the accessory. Must be used on top of the opaline window.

The cylindrical lens option improves collimation (concentration of the luminous flux), making it possible to increase the luminance on the exit glass by a factor of 20: the illuminated area becomes then finer.

EFFI-Flex-BL is powered by a 24V DC source. By using the AIC pin, the light intensity can be increased linearly:
• 0V – OFF
• 24V – Full ON
Depending on the size, the light comes with different connectors.
The power version includes a power boost of x1.5 with the same homogeneity than the standard reference.

The EFFI-FLEX has one T-slot on the back for 8mm T-nut (M6 recommended), and one slot on the side for M6 hex nut. Effilux offers compatible mounting solutions.
